The 29th International Women Film Festival of Créteil and Val-de-Marne, will go on this year with its commitment towards women directors by proposing like every year an international feature, short and documentary competition from all over the world.

A non conformist festival bursting out a So British ! ( in collaboration with the British Council) retrospective with impertinence and vivacity, offering you a deep dive into British cinema¹ turbulence zone to let you have a taste of it in every possible way.

We¹re still waiting for our guest of honour and her Autoportrait that will set the tone for our feast and give us the chance to discover her films or to see them again.
Who like Catherine Deneuve, Jeanne Moreau, Irène Papas, Juliette Binoche, Jane Birkin ŠetcŠ will be with us this year ? Some names are secretly whisperedŠ

Histoire(s) de voir, the most ionnovative section of the festival will gather fiction films and documentaries around the captivating theme of Désir(s) : to love, to share, to create, to give, to disturb, to move, to dreamŠ

Last but not the least, Graine de Cinéphage gives a rendez-vous to Val-de-Marne¹ teens from high school and college for a special selection, to be part of a jury and of a film workshop.

As a special preview, the festival will take you in its Echappées Belles at the Jeu de Paume Museum in Paris, from September 23rd to October the 3rd with a retrospective of the works of Irit Batsry, videofilm maker.
