Fantastisk Filmfestival in Lund awards

The tenth edition of Fantastisk Filmfestival in Lund, Sweden, closed during Sunday with an award ceremony at Filmstaden movie theatre. The following awards were presented:
The winner of the Silver Méliès for best European feature 2004 was Tempus Fugit by Enric Folch, Spain, who was also present to receive his award.
In the words of the jury: "The 2004 Silver Méliès goes to a film in which all strings in the logic somersaults of time travel are neatly tied together. Complex chains of events lead to the unimaginable consequences of seemingly coincidental events. The singularity of the common man is highlighted in a comedy about serious things"
Honorary mention: Blueberry by Jan Kounen, France"For his congenial translation of Moebius' revolutionary art of comics, and for his bringing the language of digital expression through the desert of technical effects and into the fertile land of soul and mind."
Nominated to the Golden Méliès for best European short: "A manuscript that holds right through, audacious editing, excellent acting and soundtrack make Daddy's Boy by Toni Harman (UK) to a sure winner of the short film award of 2004. The jury was unanimous in its decision."
Tempus Fugit and Daddy's Boy will be competing for the Golden Méliès award for best European fantastic film in Neuchâtel next year.
The jury:
Carl Henrik Svenstedt. Writer, journalist and film maker since 1965.
Mariah Larsson. Lecturer and researcher at Lund University.
Katarina Larke Skedung. Producer for "Antirasistiska Filmdagarna i Malmö" (Anti Racist Filmdays in Malmö)
Tommy Starck. Producer at Swedish national television, SVT.
The audience voted for "best films" as follows:
Best feature film: Tempus Fugit, Enric Folch, Spanien,.
Best animated short: The God, Konstantin Bronzit, Russia.
Best live-action-short: 7:35 in the Morning/7:35 de la mañana, Nacho Vigalondo, Spain.
