Inaugural Irish Festival at Old Billingsgate

The fates have made it inevitable that the inaugural Irish Festival at Old Billingsgate will take place in March 2011 celebrating

St Patrick's Day
and
The Cheltenham Gold Cup
Both Thursday and Friday are ideal for corporate hosts to entertain their clients and colleagues to informal hospitality at the City’s landmark location with the emphasis on great food and drinks and a range of live entertainment.

Thursday 17th March
The first night of the festival will be the St Patrick's Day festivities on Thursday 17th March 2011, which is always a time for much revelry in the City. The main stage will feature an award-winning Irish comedian, followed by our stepdancing or Irish tap act, Celtic Rocks plus live on stage Baltik Ceilidh as well as great traditional food and obviously, plenty of Guinness! This will be the best shindig in the City and one not to miss.

18:15 Starter platter of traditional Irish fayre
18:45 Irish Comedian
19:30 Hot platter of traditional Irish fayre
20:00 Baltik Ceilidh take to the stage
22:00 Bar closes
22:30 Guests depart

Friday 18th March
The Irish Festival 2011 on Friday will bring all the passion of Cheltenham to life when you will be able to watch the climax of the entire Jump racing year - the Tote sport Cheltenham Gold Cup - live on our giant screens. The Friday event will create the perfect start the weekend with our fantastic entertainment line up followed by the live screening.
