The 10th International Bitfilm Festival for Digital Film will reach its climax on October 1st when the award ceremony will take place at the Cinematheque Tel Aviv.

For six weeks internet users from all over world could vote for the 66 nominated films which competed for a total prize money of 10,000 Euros and the Bitfilm robot trophies. Bitfilm's director Aaron Koenig will disclose the winners in a public award show in Israel's economic and cultural metropolis. The show will start at 9 pm. The 5 most popular films from each of the four competiton categories will be screened. A Balkan Jazz trio will accompany the show with live music, visuals will be provided by the VJane of Balkan Beat Box.

An after-show party will be thrown at the Block Club, in cooperation with Glam-ou-Rama. DJ Boogalloo Stu from London will rock the house, the VJ team "Die Lichtpiraten" from Berlin will create live visuals.
