The Anatomy Series is an annual and popular tradition at IWFF, where award-winning filmmakers share their insights and thoughts on Best of Festival and Best of Category Award Winners. Every year, a grueling judging process is undertaken by IWFF judges to choose the very best of the best in wildlife and natural history films and television programming. Each year, the films that emerge are creative, unique and special. They often set the trend for new directions in filmmaking. Understanding what gives them that edge is key to our mission, to making great films and, ultimately, to survival of the field.
