Le Femme Filmposium will provide info, inspiration, and support for women filmmakers to get their ideas off the drawing board and into action.

The event will:
1) present works by local female film professionals
2) provide interactive panel discussions on the various experiences of women filmmakers - with a focus on production and professional choices
3) provide networking opportunities and connections to resources to emerging female filmmakers
4) provide an opportunity for an emerging female filmmaker(s) in Portland to obtain "seed money" for a proposed production(s)
