Molodist FilmBoat Meeting

With Kyiv IFF Molodist quickly approaching - yet bigger and more influential each time - General director Maksim Ilyashenko and project coordinator Marina Orekhova have announced the last call for projects to be submitted at Molodist FilmBoat Meeting - a new co-production oriented event whereat young filmmakers will have chance to present their cinema project at the attention of Europe's and the world's leading producers and funds financing cinema production.
Molodist FilmBoat Meeting is aimed primarily at filmmakers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, but also from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Turkey, as well as other countries - if the project is related with the mentioned territories or if the project is submitted by Molodist winners/participants. Deadline for projects submission is August 15 thus making this month the busiest not only for the program department.
"Over the last years Molodist has grown into much more than Ukraine's biggest cinema and cultural event, but into a main film festival of Central and Eastern Europe and a major forum for student and debut films in the world. - says Maksim Ilyashenko, - We are happy and proud to follow and develop our mission (Molodist means "youth" in Ukrainian and has initially started as gathering of cinema students) and that beginning from this year young filmmakers will have opportunity to present and eventually realize their projects with help of Molodist FilmBoat Meeting"

First Molodist FilmBoat Meeting will be held within 38th Kyiv IFF Molodist (October 18-26, 2008).
Deadline for projects submission is August 15.
See further description below or check out Molodist web page - www.molodist.com/en - for further details about this and other Molodist events and the festival in general.
