First Time Directors and Producers share their experiences of making their first film.

Panel Description
You are only a first time filmmaker once. This opportunity to hear some hard learned lessons and get exposed to filmmakers who have been in the trenches and have the scars still fresh in their minds. The topics will
cover: What they did right? What they did wrong? What they learned and how the finished product differs, from script to final cut? Come and learn how their views, of the filmmaking process changed them as filmmakers and as people.

Film-Blitz was conceived in 2003 in New York City to screen quality films. Showcasing short and features films from around the world throughout numerous venues in New York City. In addition providing a real place for all artists to networking and elevate their craft.

New York International Latin Film Festival (NYILFF) launched in 1999 and has quickly grown into the largest Urban Latino film event in the country. NYILFF’s current annual programming line-up includes the flagship weeklong film festival in NYC, a touring arm, an annual screenwriters’ lab, a new music showcase, special one-off screening events, a short film competition in partnership with HBO, and a high school scholarship program sponsored by Time Warner.
