MyFrenchFilmFestival.com is an innovative concept the goal of which is to let you discover French cinema and share your love of French films with Internet users all over the world. For its third edition, the festival returns with new foreign languages, new partner platforms and an avant-première for its launch in London.
When?
From 17 January to 17 February 2013, film buffs all over the world will be able to access all the films proposed by the 3rd edition of the on-line French cinema festival.
As an avant-première this year, you can watch the shorts free-of-charge on 21 December within the framework of The Shortest Day, the short-film celebration organised by the CNC, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture (selected within the framework of the 2012 call for innovative cultural digital-service projects).
The principle
Ten features and ten shorts are in competition. You are invited to score all the films and leave your comments on the website. The films receiving the top scores will be awarded and shown aboard all Air France flights. Don't hesitate to make your voice heard!
The selection also includes, out of competition, a heritage film and a Canadian French-speaking short and feature.
How?
The festival is available in 12 languages. The website and films (via pay video-on-demand) are accessible in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. The Chinese version can be accessed on our partner platforms Youku and Tudou.
As soon as the new edition of the Festival opens on the website of MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, you can watch free-of-charge exclusive interviews with the directors and actors.
The prize-winners
Seven prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival (four for the features, three for the shorts): the Jury Prize, Audience Award, Numericable Social Networks Prize, and International Press Prize. The winning films will be shown aboard all fights of Air France.
