CONCEPT
National Neighborhood Day, a national nonprofit organization founded to promote community development through neighborhood relationships, is hosting a short film contest to encourage amateur and professional filmmakers to illustrate the potential, possibilities and benefits of healthy neighborhoods. Entries must be postmarked by June 1st, 2005.

CASH
Cash awards will be granted in three categories: Grand Prize ($5000), Youth Prize ($2000) and Special Jury Award ($2000).

ALL-STAR PANEL OF JUDGES
Our all-star panel of judges includes two-time Academy Award winner Terry Sanders; Gregg Hale, producer and filmmaker of the "Blair Witch Project"; Mike Majoros, film maker and film professor at the Rhode Island School of Design; film and television veteran Rick Smith, and Ruby Bridges, community organizer and Civil Rights Pioneer.
