Prix Europa supports best TV radio and Internet

Prix europa
The Prix Europa is awarded to the best European television, radio and Internet productions with the aim of publicising them throughout Europe and supporting their distribution and use.
Prix Europa's main concern is to promote the trademark "Made in Europe" and to reflect the complete spectrum of European productions, to show cross-border programme developments and to be a forum for quality programmes.
It has become the most important festival of its kind since the founding of Prix Europa in 1987 by the European Cultural Foundation and the Council of Europe.

"My Europe"
Prix Europa Spot "My Europe" is the name of the prize which is looking for spots of one to two minutes in length about Europe. The spots should transcend national, cultural and language borders and communicate a very personal vision of Europe as a place of opportunity and change, as a source of hope, confidence and dynamism.
Participants entering spots should be under 30 years of age and either be training in the media field or have recently completed such training. A special jury will be responsible for the selection of the winning Prix Europa Spot. The prize money is 6000 Euros. Donor and patron of this new prize is the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany which intends to use the prize-winning spot to advertise and promote Europe.
