Romania Fest unveils line up for WOMEN IN CINEMA

The 1st Romania International Film Festival unveils line up for the competitive program WOMEN IN CINEMA

September 18, 2009 - Arad, Romania: The much-anticipated Romania International Film Festival announced the selection of its competitive section Women in Cinema. This competition, which runs parallel to the CineBlackSea competition, includes narrative feature films, documentaries and short films. The first edition of Ro-IFF takes place in the Romanian city of Arad from September 26 - October 4, 2009.

The Women in Cinema lineup is dedicated to female directors and producers. It offers many not-to-be-missed films including narratives such as El Niño Pez by Lucia Taraporevala, and Little Zizou by Sooni Taraporevala, as well as documentaries such as Swamp by Barbara Henlo.

All films screened are Romanian premieres.
