“STIFF Nights”is a monthly screening series of indies

“STIFF Nights”is a monthly screening series of Truly Independent Films kicking off with a couple indie gems.

On Wednesday, September 6th at The Rendezvous’ (6:30PM) STIFF will be previewing for the press and their guests; Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell and High Score - the two up and coming indie films that will kick off the STIFF Monthly screening series on Thursday, September 14th, and Friday October 13th at Central Cinema.

Please accept this invitation to come check out these two outstanding movies. Food and alcohol will be provided for members of the press and their guests. Please just RSVP with the number of guests you are bringing.

You may be wondering why you should come and cover these movies when we haven’t even linked your article on STIFF 2006 to the website yet. I want you to know that it is in the works, but our designer is getting married in a few weeks. I have been trying not to bog her down with too much until after the wedding, but as soon as she is back from her honeymoon, we will be leveraging your previous articles on STIFF 2006 as well as any you may write on the movies playing the STIFF monthly screening series for the new website.

Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell (Runtime 97 Minutes)

Synopsis: The history of New America unfolds; the year is 2097 A.D. Two decades ago, the great nation of the United States fell forever. Now, the survivors must re-emerge from the ashes as the founding fathers of a brutal and bizarre new nation. And so, a new kind of political race begins.

High Score (Runtime 59 Minutes)

HIGH SCORE follows Bill as he attempts to take down the Atari classic Missile Command and its twenty year-old record. To get the 80 million points he'll have to play the game on one quarter for over two days straight. There is no pause button. There will be no sleep. There can be only one victor in this classic story of Man versus Missile Command. (comes complete with surprise ending)
Bill will be in attendance for Q&A sessions after each screening.
