Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

Stockholm International Film Festival begins!

Finally the time has come for a twelve days film fest to light up the winter darkness. Stockholm presents 16 Red Carpet screenings at the premiere theatre Skandia, most of the screenings will have actors or directors present. Miranda July joins us on Skype and we also present Wong Kar Wai's favourite photographer Christopher Doyle.

Between November 9 - 20 the festival will show 173 films from 44 countries, and welcome  directors, actors and film lovers from all over the world.

Don't miss the master photographer Christopher Doyle in Stockholm. Christopher Doyle is one of the world's most prominent cinematographers working today. After many successful and trendsetting collaborations with Wong Kar Wai (Chungking Express, In The Mood For Love) he has also made himself known for his incredible sense of style with films such as Hero (Zhang Yimou) and Paranoid Park (Gus Van Sant). At the festival he present the premieres Tormented and Underwater Love. He will also lead a Masterclass and hold a Face2Face on November 10 7PM at Victoria 2 after the screening of Underwater Love.
