Andreas Wilson is Sweden's Shooting Star that participated in the "Shooting Star" Event at the Berlinale February 8th. He was born in 1981 and attended the Tibble Gymnasium, where he was trained in both acting and singing. Andreas began his professional career at a young age, having been cast in several productions at the Royal Dramatic Theatre of Stockholm while still in school. On stage, he held the lead roles in several musicals, including West Side Story and Grease. In 2003, he made an auspicious film debut in the lead role of Erik in Evil (also producer), directed by Mikael Håfström, for which he was awarded “Best Actor“ at the Europa Cinema Festival in Viareggio, Italy. Wilson is definitely on the rise with a powerful acting style.
