Explore the lives and thoughts of these Alberta everymen, their depths of friendship, and also learn the art and science of drinking beer like a man!

Director Spotlight : Jeff Krulik
Jeff Krulik is a prolific and award-winning documentary filmmaker based in Washington, DC. Krulik is known for his profiles of unusual people and for bringing a trademark blend of curiosity, humor and compassion to his films including Heavy Metal Parking Lot, I Created Lancelot Link, and Ernest Borgnine on the Bus. The Backseat Film Festival pays tribute with a block of Krulik classics, and ending with the Philly premiere of his latest work, "Traveling Sideshow: Shocked and Amazed. Schedule of events

The Philadelphia edition of the 2004 Backseat Film Festival, which is fast becoming known as one of America's most fun and edgy film festivals, will feature 25 unique hours of the least-pretentious independent film from all over the world. We like movies that are a good time, films that are actually entertaining, ones that make us laugh and are edgy in all the best ways. Films that push peoples buttons and question their sensibilities. What we think of as GOOD films. A film of any size, shape or flavor can be a good film, as long as its got the right spirit.
