The East End Film Festival came to a close

The East End Film Festival came to a close last week with an awards ceremony at Dalston’s Rio Cinema hosted by Perrier-winning comedians Noble & Silver. 8 days, 10 venues, over 20 feature films, countless short films, plus the panel sessions, networking, parties, and gigs by bands such as Youthmovies, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Spork, The Caesareans, and more – it was a full-on week, but was a massive success all round. Check out the action at http://www.flickr.com/photos/eastendfilmfestival/

Awards:

Best Short Film (Jury Award):
ERIC’S SECRETS (Lucia Ashmore)
Jury - Verena Stackelberg (Curzon Cinemas), Rebecca Mark-Lawson (Lifesize Pictures), Perry Benson (actor, THIS IS ENGLAND, SOMERS TOWN), Charlie Hanson (producer, EXTRAS)

Best Short Film (Audience Award):
