The future of television is in your back pocket.

On The Leesh produces first nano-series for the ipod the In-betweenS of Holly Malone

New York: On The Leesh Productions, uses cutting edge technology to produce the first nano-series for video ipods

The revolution will still be televised, it will just be smaller. Techno-heads know the future of entertainment is downlodable, portable and about the size of a credit card. On the Leesh, a cutting edge film company is betting that their new nano-series, The In -BetweenS of Holly Malone, will be the next essential ipod accessory. Itunes users can subscribe to the nano-series and have each sexy, hilarious, outrageous moment delivered to their portable device. Each episode is shorter than the commercial break on old-fashioned television.

The In -BetweenS of Holly Malone follows a young New Yorker named Holly who seems perpetually in-between: in between boyfriends, apartments, bra sizes, menstrual cycles, shades of lipstick and other experiences both monumental and mundane. The season begins when she meets Dimitri, while buying a wedding present at the EmPORNium.

Viewers get to interact with the storyline by suggesting storylines and voting on the choices characters make.

"Holly Malone" has been designed with a built in a voting system that invites the audience to help choose what will happen to the characters.

OTL is interested in how future entertainment will use a convergence of media. To help market this project, OTL has taken to the web, and all the characters have a MySpace profile through which they interact with each other based on the plots of the episodes, and with outside “friends”, again combining the live audience participation with the virtual world of Holly Malone.

All web-isodes are premiered on www.itunes.com, then released on other sites such as www.youtube.com, www.myspace.com, and www.google.com. The launching of this new series is part of the new wave of digital, accessible, and portable entertainment.

"The accessibility and relatively low cost of presenting work via the internet has allowed On the Leesh to produce new work by PG Kain and a variety of fresh new directors with “Holly Malone” as the vehicle. What excites us most about using our “nano-series” format is the potential for audience participation. The show will no doubt help us reach a larger audience and help us, as a growing company, to take more risks creatively and professionally." Alicia Arinella, President of On The Leesh

On The Leesh will celebrate Holly M’s initiation on the World Wide Web with a launch party on Tuesday, June 27 at Elmo (7th ave in Chelsea). Please RSVP – to Springer Associates PR (212) 354 4660.

Alicia Arinella of On The Leesh and creator PG Kain are available to discuss this project and the advantages and accessibility internet content. OTL is currently in discussions with AOL and other content distributors.
