The Swiss Television Awards, the most important awards of the Swiss television industry will now be part of the Rose d'Or Festival. This prestigious and glamourous ceremony will be the opening event on May 6 2012.

The Swiss Television Award honours outstanding national achievement in television in the following categories: Film, Broadcast, Innovation and Personality. In addition, each year a leading figure of the Swiss television industry is recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The media partners of the Swiss Television Award are the biggest Swiss national newspaper Blick, and the leading Swiss TV magazine Tele. This collaboration between the Rose d'Or Festival and Axel Springer Schweiz AG will further raise the national profile of our international festival for entertainment television. Previously held in Zurich, the award will be presented for the first time in its new home, the KKL Lucerne.
