The title, taken from one of the works participating, is a direct reference to one of Marcel Duchamp's pseudonyms, Rrose Selavy. The name sounds like the French phrase "Eros, c'est la vie" and can be found in various Man Ray photographs where Duchamp is dressed as a woman.
