ViBGYOR is a non-competitive festival for Non-Feature cinema. Carrying forward our central theme of last year, 'Celebrating identities and diversities', in 2007 the festival is planning a much larger event with a variety of packages.

ViBGYOR Package has seven themes, underscoring the colours of the rainbow. They are: Indigenous People, Dalit Reality, Gender & Sexuality, Fundamentalism v/s Diversity, Nation State (War & Conflict), Globalization and Region Focus (South Asia). The theme for the Focus of the Year package is Earth. Apart from the above two packages, there will be an `International package' ( Human Rights, Migration and Health & HIV) a `Kerala Spectrum' and two Retrospectives: Silvio Tendler (Brazil) and our own Anand Patwardhan.Other features of the 4-day festival are National Conference (theme: Earth), Open Forum, Youth Encounters and Film Market

The following are the organizations that have already agreed to put their name in the list of Organizers of ViBGYOR-2007: Chetana Media Institute, NOTTAM, GAIA, VISUAL SEARCH, SICHREM, OTHER MEDIA Communications, ABHIVYAKTI (Nasik), VISTAR, Environment Support Group (ESG), NESA, INSAF, National Adivasi Andolan and VAK. We hope that a few more will join us soon, including Action AID. We are raising more than 50% of the total expenses locally.
