"We are the pioneer of a Women Film Festival in India, where women are being showcased not just an object of visual pleasure, rather women behind the camera, first ever in India & second in Asia after Japan. We're all set to establish "female gaze" behind the camera.

What we must assert that India International Women Film Festival is not just a festival alone, rather a mirror of our society. It talks about women empowerment, very much relevant in a developing country like India where gender discrimination is a regular phenomenon in our society.

For sure, India International Women Film Festival which is a part of the Women Empowerment Project is going to create an epoch making history in the world of Indian Cinema if film is the only acid test of a film festival. Thriving in a situation when film viewing was considered a vice it is really a hard task to offer a complete film festival meant for the women directors alone."
