The World Cosplay Summit
Japan's manga and anime have cast a spell on youth around the world. The boom has added another dimension to the fun of reading and watching - it's the fun of "getting into the character" = "cosplay". The World Cosplay Summit was established in Japan in 2003 to promote a new kind of international exchange through cosplayers all over the world. The number of participating counties has increased over the years to 22 countries and regions this year.

Cosplayers from around the world are making their way to the "holy land of Japan".
