Getting ready for the red carpet
A gala night like the Goyas,Oscars,Baftas,Cesars, etc... is not only about cinema but also a lot of fashion is involve. The film stars want to look as good as possible in the red carpet. That is why La Academia has opened in Madrid a showroom where nominees and presenters can go and follow suggestions from Goya Awards stylist, Vicente Ruiz. In this showroom well-known Spanish fashion firms collaborate to get our actresses to shine under the spotlight. "Every year more and more firms are willing to participate because the Goya Gala Night is a platform for their creations. Not only they give us dresses but also shoes, accessorizes and jewelry" explains Ruiz, "every year is a harder try". Days after they all have walked along the red carpet, one will received a special award called La Maja de los Goya (in a joke with the famous paint). A jewel valued 25.000 euros and sponsored by Carrera&Carrera. No wonder they do their best by choosing the outfits! 24.01.2012 | Goya Awards's blog Cat. : BAFTAS Carrera CDATA Gala Night Goya Awards Human Interest Human Interest Madrid Oscars paint Red carpet Showroom Vicente Ruiz XML AWARDS
