The Screening of "Hecho en Mexico" sounded totally in line with the positioning of the festival : matching US and Mexican industry. The film delivered a message that should allow a better understanding of the Mexican culture, I am sure it echoed in many of the mexican viewers who were having a great time (laughters and heavy applause)
My take is it would have made a great, lighter opening film. Great music, highly creative treatment and story telling, I liked it a lot.
