FEST 2015: Call for entries open

 

The 11th edition of FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival, to be held in Espinho, Portugal from June 22nd to 29th 2015, is calling for submissions, open until March 15th 2015 at noon. 

The competitive sections of the festival are: 

Feature Length Films (section dedicated to filmmakers in their first or second feature film):
- Golden Lynx – Fiction Competition
- White Lynx – Documentary Competition

Short and Medium Length Films (section dedicated to filmmakers up to 30 years old):
- Silver Lynx (Fiction)
- Lynx DOC (Documentary)
- Lynx EXP (Experimental)
- Lynx ANIM (Animation)

Prize for best Portuguese film in competition (selected from all Portuguese films in competition):
- Iberian Lynx

Film submission can be entirely made online through an Online Entry Form. Submissions regulations can be found here

Another option is to submit a film via traditional post, in which case the Entry Form, which must be mailed, together with:
a) Three or more recent pictures of the film;
b) Picture of the director;
c) Brief biography of the director;
d) Copy of the film;
e) Synopsis;
f) PayPal receipt of the Submission Fee;

We remind you that the deadline submission date refers to the arrival of the films at our headquarters, and not to the stamp date. 

Film Submission in FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival is subject to a submission fee of 2€ for short and medium length films and 5€ for feature length films. 

Fees will be waived for all Portuguese entries, as an effort to promote national participation.
