The deadline for submissions to the Virtual Reality 2020 section is extended to May 31st
The deadline to register Virtual Reality projects for submission to the Venice Virtual Reality section of the 77th Venice International Film Festival 2020 (Lido di Venezia, 2 – 12 September) has been extended to May 31st 2020, from the initial date of May 15th.
The Virtual Reality section will present the world and/or international premieres, in competition and out of competition, of a maximum of 30 Immersive Virtual Reality Projects. Only video 360 and interactive 3DOF and 6DOF works will be accepted, physical installations will not be accepted. The works by the teams that participated in the fourth edition of the Biennale College Cinema – VR and a selection of “Best of VR” will be presented Out of Competition.
All films submitted must be recently produced, completed not prior to 7 September 2019, and must not have been presented earlier in any other format or length, not even as a work-in-progress, for any selection in previous editions of the Venice International Film Festival. |
