''Chicogrande'', by Felipe Cazals, opening film of San Sebastian Film Festival 58th Edition

''Elle s'appelait Sarah (Sarah’s Key)'', by the French filmmaker Gilles Paquet-Brenner, will close the 58th San Sebastian Festival

The actress Yun Junghee will open Zabaltegi-Pearls with Poetry while Richard J. Lewis, Paul Giamatti and Rosamund Pike will present Barney’s Version, the film closing Zabaltegi-Pearls in San Sebastian. For his part, Diego Luna will open the Horizontes Latinos section with his directorial debut, Abel.

At the opening gala, actress Olivia Williams will receive the Fipresci Grand Prix for Best Film of the Year for Roman Polanski’s The Ghost Writer in name of the whole team. This prize is granted by members worldwide of the International Federation of Film Critics, who can vote for any feature film internationally premiered since July of the previous year. This year, 296 critics from all over the world participated. The Fipresci Gran Prix has been awarded at San Sebastian Festival since 1999.
