Paseantes de Donostia Exhibition

  

From August 10th to September 30th the exhibition PASEANTES DE DONOSTIA could be visited at the San Telmo Museum in San Sebastian.

A revision of the history of the San Sebastian Film Festival (this year reaches its 60th edition) told in images by some of the best photographers: Inés Barreda de Biurrun, Nagore Iraola, Pipo Fernández, Juantxo Egaña, Paco Marí, Jose Manuel Bielsa, David Calle, Jaime Basterretche, Jerónimo Ortiz, Juan Aygües, Moncho Trullos, Javier Gallego,Chema Prado, Jesús Pemán, Txema Ormazabal, Arturo Delgado, Ramon Cabezón y Pedro Usabiaga. A walk along the city and its famous visitors over 60 years.

Did you know that Jaws world premiere was hold in San Sebastian? Also Hitchcock´s Vertigo was first screened here.  Kirk Douglas, Tarantino, Glenn Close, Buñuel, Altman, Chabrol are among the stars of this exhibition.

A portrait of Juliette Binoche by photographer Pedro Usabiaga is the poster and the cover of the book that has been published for the occasion.

The idea of this collection is Pedro Usabiaga´s. He´s done the research, collected snaps from other photographers and coordinate the whole thing until giving it the actual and final result. All being possible with the collaboration of Museo San Telmo, San Sebastian Film Festival, Basque Government, Diputacion de Guipuzcoa, San Sebastian  EITB, Kutxa and Altuna&Uria S.A.
