Rajasthan International Film Festival coming up

Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), named after the north-western state of India where it is held, endeavours to impart a novel identity to world cinema, through conducting film festivals in the state-capital city of Jaipur every year. It is now in its fifth year. RIFF will continue to work in areas concerning technical and academic aspects of cinema. Film-buffs can earmark January 19-23, 2019, in their new year diaries, to be there, and soak in Rajasthani pomp, splendour and hospitality.

RIFF is a five-day extravaganza that showcases a diverse, language-independent, selection of the best feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world, on themes of Hindi and English and other Rajasthani cultures and identities. In addition, the festival also features concerts, gala events, film parties, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities with government representatives, business leaders, local organisations that support film development, film-stars, producers, directors, members of the media and more.

The festival also aims to provide a platform to young Rajasthanis to showcase their creativity.

The Vision and Mission of RIFF are guided by an advisory board composed of respected political, business, arts, community and media leaders. RIFF is an initiative of the RIFF FILM CLUB, the first Film Club of Rajasthan, which brings film lovers and film-makers together, to enable exchange of information, and single window solutions for film industry.

5th RIFF will be held at INOX, Crystal Palm, 22 Godown Circle, Jaipur (Rajasthan), while the RIFF Award Night is scheduled for 23rd Jan. 2019, 6 pm onwards, at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur.
