RIFF, 08, 2022, 04: Komal Nahta chosen for the Outstanding Contribution to The Business of Cinema award

According to an official announcement, Mumbai-based Komal Nahta has been chosen for the Outstanding Contribution to The Business of Cinema award at the 8^th Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF). Belonging to Jodhpur, Rajasthan, the venue of RIFF, Komal Nahta is a leading film trade analyst. His magazine, Film Information, founded by his father, Ramraj Nahata, is the oldest trade magazine, started in 1973. The magazine now has an online presence (filminformation.com). Komal's sharp analysis of films and film business is considered the gospel truth in film trade circles. Film Information is a guiding light for the trade people who consider it to be the Bible of the film industry, due to its fair, forthright and impartial reportage.

By qualification, Komal is a Chartered Accountant. In fact, he joined his father in the business of publication soon after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (C.A.). The next deadline to submit the film is 31st January 2022, which is TODAY.
