On the go, go-getter actor Frank Krueger is here today to speak about his recent films The Pink Conspiracy (2007), Break (2008), Gerald (2010) and more!

ME: Hi Frank, thanks for talking with us. First, can you tell us about your film The Pink Conspiracy? Like a brief on what it's about and then your role in it?

FRANK: The Pink Conspiracy is a dark fun relationship comedy about a guy who discovers that every woman he has ever dated is in a giant conspiracy to ruin his life. I play FRANK, "The douche bag with the metal balls", a past victim of the conspiracy who is trying to help the main character DAVE through the mess he is in. It's a pretty over the top character. My first shot on my first day on the film I was handed a red, white and blue speedo and some aviator sunglasses for my wardrobe and that was it. It was a blast.

ME: haha! Love it. So the sequel will be 'The Blue Conspiracy' with you taking revenge. LOL! What about your film Break? What is it about and then what is your role? I can see also that Break has quite a big cast in it. What was it like working with Michael Madsen and David Carradine and everyone else? Also, (being with FPE) it's nice to see the film has distribution. yay!!! :-)

FRANK: BREAK is a neo-noir graphic novel style film about a hitman who has to decide between the job and the girl. It was a huge opportunity for me because I got to play the main character, the hitman FRANK. Every day I was working opposite real heavy hitters like Michael Madsen, Charles Durning, Chad Everett, and David Carradine who sadly passed away just a month after we opened in LA. It a very fun stylized noir with the man in black and the woman in red and it was amazing to get to play in the world the writer/director Marc Clebanoff created. It's great to see that it got the distribution it did and is doing as well as it is.

ME: Well, Break is a special film then for many reasons, as you say. Recently, you worked on Gerald (2010)? Can you tell us what it's about and your role?

FRANK: Gerald is a funny, sweet family comedy starring Louis Mandylor and directed by Marc Clebanoff that I had a very small role in. I got to come in for a day and do a funny little scene. It was great to be a part of it. The performances are terrific and I'm looking forward to great things for the film.

ME: How long have you been acting and when did you know you wanted to act? Sorry, that's the most general question but I still loving hearing this story because it's always different from every actor.

FRANK: I've been acting professionally for about ten years but I've had the bug all my life. I think it comes from my parents. We used to go to the movies every Sunday when I was young and saw everything. My father used to sit in the front row of the movie theater when he was a kid and watch a triple feature, twice. He said he would sit so close because he wanted to be in the story. That's how I feel as well. I always wanted to be inside the movies, STAR WARS, E.T, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, I wanted to live in those worlds. Every time I get to watch one of the movies I'm in on the big screen it still blows me away. I'm very grateful for the incredible opportunities to work on these films.

ME: I think all of us in film can relate. Film is a phenomenon that taps into the psyche and all of us in the industry have the same obsession. For me, Star Wars definitely was the trigger. Frank, is there anything you want people to know about you or your films or your upcoming projects? Can you speak about Redemption yet?

FRANK: My current project is Redemption: The Darkness Descending started off as a feature film project but has evolved into a multi-platform project that encompasses film, Internet, gaming and social media to tell a highly interactive story. It is a new form of storytelling that is very exciting. It is an action drama set against the real life backdrop of homelessness in the 52 acres of substructure under New York City. Our goal is to blend fact and fiction to immerse the audience in the unseen world and humanity below the streets.
