WoFF: World of film Intl festival Glasgow partners with Blind Spot Gear for the 2015 WoFF Awards. 

Scotland based Blind Spot Gear, formed by filmmakers and film professionals, has designed the innovative Scorpion Light - a carry-on lighting equipment, inspired by the filmmaker’s need to film in various locations where the use of larger equipment is out of question. The Scorpion light not only offers a unique and exclusively professional way of filming with handheld cameras and in every location, but it also helps independent filmmakers reduce equipment costs. 

The Blind Spot Gear is supporting WoFF’s initiative to support and promote independent cinema and will award the winning filmmakers with lighting equipment which will become their ultimate gadget in future film projects. 

The Award ceremony will be held on October 4 2015 at Glasgow’s CCA: Centre fro Contemporary Arts at the Closing of WoFF 2015.
