FILM/VIDEO FESTIVAL 2011 (RRIFF) is a 3-day event aimed at showcasing
the most creative, experimental and innovative Film, Theatre and Dance
performances alongside Visual Arts exhibitions and Spoken Word
performances from across Ghana and beyond as it touches on HIV and
AIDS- STIGMATIZATION.
Running from 29th November- 1st December 2011.It is Principled on the belief that the power of audio-visual (film) is an extremely authoritative tool for education.
An educative tool which is cable of fostering understanding, and
building a more open-minded world through spreading knowledge of human
rights; as audience are more inquisitive of a better perspective that
challenges them to think through both the smaller individual issues and
big societal questions that confront humanity such as: HIV and AIDS-
STIGMATISATION.
Having it’s theme as “ABC of HIV/AIDS”- ABSTINENCE, BEING FAITHFUL, AND
CONDOM USE, RRIFF is determined to help broaden the horizon in Ghana and
lead Africa in chatting a new cause in eradicating STIGMATIZATION
HIV and AIDS pandemic in the continent through Audio-visual.
