June 23rd, a Hitachi team of eight will be taking on the Three Peaks
Challenge, a mountain endurance test where participants attempt to climb
the highest peaks of England, Wales and Scotland. The team will attempt
to summit all three mountains in less than 48 hours!

Exhausted. Mental images of hundreds of films spiraling through tired minds. Eyes a-sting. Tremendously excited about the event to come. It was a hard, hard process this year – we were inundated with amazing films – and for those filmmakers that didn’t get in – please keep on going, the world needs great story tellers. This month we say au revoir to Rhiannon Hobbins, ÉCU’s Festival Manager for the past four years. Rhiannon was the ultimate resource for all that is ÉCU but she is moving on to her next adventure back in her home country of Australia. It’s hard to express how much she will be missed but her influence will be everlasting as the festival builds upon the fabulous foundations that she put in place.
