It is the story of Sarah and of her son Noé, over the course of one day. There is an absent husband, a slightly tongue-tied son somewhere between childhood and adolescence… And then there is the mother. She is young, she holds up as best she can, but we can tell she doesn’t quite manage, that being a mother isn’t such a natural thing for her… So they both stand there staring at each other in this imposed face-off. Time enough for Sarah to open her eyes and see herself truly, and admit herself her weakness. For if the future remains uncertain, this long day will still enable them to gather their two solitudes, to sketch out a connection.

The allegorical vision of life in this cute little village quickly turns into a nightmare for some. The mayor of Sainte-Simone (Rémy GIRARD) endured Jeanne the French aunt for over fifty years. It is now out of question that he will do the same with a second generation of frenchies.

Jimmy wants to be a millionaire businessman but he's the worst huslter in history. As things spiral out of control, Beatrice is forced to make a hard decision.)
