RULES and REGULATIONS

Send us your movie (2 copies) on DVD, region free, NTSC or PAL. Filmmaker submits with the understanding that, if selected, we will strive to screen from the submission copy, so please send only your finished, ready-to-screen movie during the submission process. This also means that any disclaimers or logos, i.e. “Screening Copy Only”, should be unobtrusive enough such that, if/when we screen, a festival audience will not be adversely affected.

Screeners will not be returned; they will be securely archived (or destroyed, at your request). We’d like to keep them on hand for future affiliated screening series, in which case we’ll contact participating filmmakers with details.

We are 100% committed to protecting copyrighted material! Bangkok
IndieFest is currently recognized internationally by a variety of organizations as being exceptionally diligent in this area.

Filmmaker assumes cost of materials sent to the festival.

Entries should be sent with the following declaration: "No commercial value--cultural purposes only" If a value is required for customs purposes, please put $1 US Dollar or the equivalent.

Bangkok IndieFest is not responsible for submissions that may be lost intransit. If your movie is MIA, you can of course re-send without an additional entry fee!

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Each copy should include the following information: title, running time,
filmmaker name, Tracking/PayPal number, and email address.
All submissions must be DVD region 1 or 0 or region-free; please make sure DVD is secured on its center spindle so it will not dislodge during transit.

Our intention is to exhibit at Bangkok IndieFest in a user-friendly digital format [DVD/DV Cam/Mini DV] Filmmaker submits with the understanding that that final exhibition format may be on DVD—via their actual submitted DVD. Bangkok IndieFest will utilize, where possible, submission copy as final exhibition copy.
