About the Director: 

Born in 1983, Yacine Balah started to make short movies in autoproduction when he was 16. in 2005, he became direct music videos for hip hop artist. In 2009, his father told him a story about algerian war. Yacine started to write this story for doing a short. This is the story of "Enemy Brothers", a personal but universel story. The short was shot in june 2013.

<p>Morade A&iuml;ssaoui and Kamel Guemra are two french producers. They create a production society, &quot;BoogieMan Production&quot;, and they already produced 4 short-movies and 2 pilot for Tv Show, in coproduction with Gaumont TV. They felt themselves personal conviction to produce &quot;Enemy Brothers&quot;, because of their personal stories. They receive the screenplay in the end of 2009, and decide to produce it.&nbsp;</p>

Film synopsis: 
<p>France, 1958. After shooting three North-African men, Lieutenant Messard asks his sergeant found absolutely Messaoud, a renegade FLN, which seems to have escaped them. Messaoud, carrying a suitcase, finds refuge in a house he believes abandoned. He crosses paths with Belkacem, owner of the house, which appears on his guard. Belkacem will heal Messaoud. It was then that some trust is established and a discussion ensued on this conflict. Meanwhile, the Army searched the surrounding houses and approaches.</p>
