to see, so many synopsis to read, not to mention industry panels and
parties; this is the great thing about film festivals, the bad part –
there’s no way to see and do it all.
Here’s my tentative list of films I plan to see during the 19th Philadelphia Film Festival (Oct 14-24). I also hope to blog quick, on the spot film reviews by attendees after screenings, so look for me during the festival.

The Future

The official Jury of this 63rd Festival de Cannes, presided over by Tim Burton, revealed this evening the prizes winners during the closing Ceremony.
Kristin Scott Thomas hosted Charlotte Gainsbourg on the stage of the Grand Théâtre Lumière to award the Palme d’or to the best film among the 19 in Competition.
Julie Bertuccelli’s closing film The Tree starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, Marton Csokas et Morgana Davies, was screened at the end of the ceremony.
