20th Philadelphia Film Festival - Day 1 - 4 Picks
I picked up my press pass for the 20th Anniversary Philadelphia Film Festival tonight!
Just to get you in the festival mood, here's the films I plan to see
the first few days (Thursday, October 20th thru Sunday October 23rd). Of
course, the festival runs till November 3rd, and I plan to be present
throughout most of it; however, during the festival, I'll be posting on

When writing reviews for film festival movies, there are a few adjectives I've learned I will probably drop from my vocabulary: heart-warming, light, sweet... They're good adjectives for other movies, to be sure, (if a bit overused at times), but they have no place here. Nope. No way.
So when I saw Yo, También, I wasn't exactly sure how I planned to describe it, for that is what it is: heart-warming, light and sweet. It made me (and the rest of the audience) burst out laughing at...

DAY EIGHTEEN
The day started early with a bowl of cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. Then it was time to pack the purple carpet bag again and head off to another train station. Wynford drove me to the station, where the price for a train ticket had gone from $35 Pounds if I had purchased the ticket online the night before, to $69. Since my credit card wasn't working, we walked over to the National Express bus office where a ticket to London was a mere $23, which I had in cash.
