This independent filmfestival puts the focus on roma. Our aim is to add new stories and (moving) pictures to avoid discrimination of this minority by international documentary and feature films from the region as much as oeuvres and clips made by the roma them selves.

Die Hintergründe zu diesem Filmfest sind nicht nur die gesellschaftlichen und politischen Veränderungen Südosteuropas vor und hinter dem Schengen Zaun. Auch der Ansatz, die (alten) Bilder im Kopf mit den (neuen) auf der Leinwand zu vergleichen, ist uns wichtig. Um sich auszutauschen, unter Nachbarn. Den filmischen Fokus auf die Situation der Roma halten wir nach wie vor für so notwenig wie bereichernd.
