But what were we really able to predict at the time ? Were our fears justified ? And what was the cost of all that ? From Switzerland to the USA, via France and the UK, SYSTEM ERROR reveals how « the bug of 2000 » became one of the most emblematic mass media phenomenon of the end of the 20th Century. The film also tells the story of the humanity’s ongoing love affair with three specific feelings: terror, panic and anxiety.
