Ron de Cana Productions, Inc. is happy to announce the acceptance of "Through the Pane" to the 12th annual Asterfest in Strumica, Macedonia for May 27-31, 2016. The film is based on a personal memoir written by director Dawn Westlake's father. It was shot and edited in Wheaton, IL, USA by Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. A score was provided by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.

Films that...Entertain...Educate...InspireThe 2016 Denton Black Film Festival (DBFF) will showcase films that entertain, educate, inspire, and communicate Black American cultural themes to the broader community as expressed through movies and art that reflect cultural mindset and changes through several generations of film-making. The 2016 Denton Black Film Festival (DBFF) is a month long expo of engaging and entertaining films and events, culminating in a major screening of over 25 award-winning and/or though provoking films January 29-31. The Festival offers programming for the family inspired by the African-American experience. DBFF seeks to offer the works of local, national and international filmmakers, that often are not seen by a broad audience and may not be recognized through major theatrical release.

Ron de Cana Productions in Los Angeles is proud to announce the birth of their 15th film, "The Martini Effect", starring Emanuele Secci, Dawn Westlake, David Razowsky and Susan Messing. The film was shot on location in Los Angeles, Malibu, Barbados and Puerto Rico and features the underwater cinematography of Secci Films.
