International Uranium Film Festival Quebec

An international film festival on nuclear age on the 70th anniversary of the atomic bomb. It is dedicated to films about the nuclear question and all aspects of nuclear power: From uranium mining to nuclear waste, from Hiroshima to Chernobyl and Fukushima.

The official poster of the 5th International Uranium Film Festival was inspired by the poster of the 62nd Festival de Cannes 2009, which was itself inspired by a still from Antonioni's l’Avventura (1960). Le MIAFF 2015 has a poster!

Le MIAFF 2015 has an incredible poster for this year's edition. An artwork which combines old with new, the poster symbolises the continuous evolution in the world of animation. Inspired and created by Tom Tassel, the poster will soon be all over Montreal, exceeding the expectation for the festival, set for April 16 - 19. Be Ani-mazed!  ...

WILD: London FF Review

Wild, dir. Jean-Marc Vallée, 2014, US      It is rather a common thing to push ourselves beyond the borderline in an attempt to see what it takes to confront our fears. This challenge now has potentially evolved into the journey of encountering our dreams and testing our capability to either pursue or quit them; but is it easy to define a dream as a ‘to quit’ or ‘to live’, before knowing the cost?    Wild is about dreams. Or, to be m...
