The Naoussa International Film Festival constitutes a unique event. It’s a very pioneering, innovative, youthful, active, vivid and qualitative experience.
For the Naoussa International Film Festival the adoption of digital technology consists an evident strategic choice. A choice which brings it in the front row of progress on the new digital era of cinema and contributes to the formation of its distinguishable character.
Thanks to the technological innovations and the willingness of its people the festival embraces all creators, provides a chance to express themselves, supports them, showing particular interest on the creator and his/her work.
The quality, vividness, variety, innovation and professionalism that discriminate each individual part of the Festival have established it in the consciousness of creators and public as a real cultural celebration.
A festival that people around the globe, distinguished people of the artistic field, high quality pictures, events of unique interest, activities for children, imaginary musical journeys, along with the spirit of volunteers compose an impressive mosaic of colors, images, sounds, culture, joy and creation.
Moreover, the festival grows to be a pole of regional development via the concretization of a new developmental planning which includes actions of cultural, educational, touristic character. The Festival promotes development, contributes to local societies and plays a decisive part in the revival of the region.
We, the organizers of the Naoussa International Film Festival, commit to keep working with enthusiasm, passion and to promote cultural activity, contribute to regional development as well as to make this event the greatest festival of Southeastern Europe.
Black International Cinema Berlin is an annual interdisciplinary, intercultural film/video festival produced and directed by Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre / THE COLLEGIUM - Forum & Television Program Berlin, Cultural Zephyr e.V. in association with FOUNTAINHEAD® DISTRIBUTION SERVICE and, screens cinema from the African Diaspora and other films from varied intercultural backgrounds or perspectives.
Black International Cinema Berlin originated from the Black Cultural Festival, which was produced and directed by Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre in 1986 for the first time in Europe, a 3-week event in Berlin, which presented the contributions of Black people to world culture through film, theater, dance, music, workshops and seminars, and was an homage to the legendary tap dancer, Carnell Lyons.
Since then, Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre produces and directs the Black International Cinema each year in Berlin and additionally, in other European and US-American cities.
The festival focuses on presenting works of an artistic, cultural or political nature coinciding with the general educational, social, artistic and economic interest of people from Africa, the African Diaspora and people with an interest in participating in intercultural communication and the resultant interfacing and sharing of educational, social, artistic and economic resources. Furthermore, Black International Cinema is open to ALL filmmakers and contributes to better understanding and increasing cooperation between people from various cultural, ethnic, national and religious backgrounds, in order to reduce prejudices and support a peaceful and respectful living together in our multi-faceted society.

A movie shot and edited with digital technologies (HD, DV, phone)? Innovative, Surprising, Amazing? In Paris 10 days in June 2010. Send your film before 15th February. www.nouveaucine.com
To show and to promote the most interesting, avant-garde and hazardous movies from the international and independent cinema, transforming madrilean nights into a cross cultural place.
To attract and create new amateurs of this kind of production with an alternative offer, by generating new place for showing. These are the main objectives of this festival.
First to organize a film festival in a music club and to promote it with a new project - the touring festival - La Boca del Lobo suggests a different model of competition, by organizing itself in small places to make connections between audience and producers easier.
The aim, since its first edition in 1997, is to explore new ways in the seventh art from a different perspective, valiant; blended with the other art: music.
Workshops, forum, exhibitions and concerts are part of the festival program.
A festival escaping from the main stream ghetto.
A festival made in a cave.
A bet against who thinks: ”madrilean movida is dead!”
A project coming from the dark night, shining by itself, that pays a tribute to creators of our age.
