IN THE PALACE Film Festival is the first and only festival of its kind in Bulgaria. Located in the quaint and romantic town of Balchik, the festival was first established in 2003. "A Life of Death" (2003/USA/8 mins) will play in DOCartoon in Pietrasanta, Italy from September 24-30, 2011. Other titles selected for this prestigious festival are Chris Landreth's Oscar-winning "Ryan", "Yellow Sticky Notes" by 2009 Clermont-Ferrand winner Jeff Chiba Stearns, and the multiple award-winner "Giallo Milano" by Sergio Basso.

Film News: 'Avatar' thesp joins Hewitt, Sergei in play adaptation -- "Avatar" thesp Joel David Moore has landed the other male lead in Bryan Fogel's feature adaptation of the Off-Broadway hit "Jewtopia," which stars Ivan Sergei and Jennifer Love Hewitt, as Variety first reported.
"Miya Anari Ba Biwi Khilari Ba" is a upcoming Bhojpuri Bollywood-style Canadian-Indian musical comedy film written, directed and produced by Babukishan Das (interview) starring Birbal, Yogini, Varsha, Chhatu Master, Yunus Parvez and many more.

Now that the Cannes Film Festival has come to the end of its 12 day

Dear filmmakers and cinema lovers,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of the tenth edition of our famous Inconnu Festival, an international short film festival that takes place every year in Paris, France.
The tree day festival will take place in spring 2013 in a prestigious Parisian cinema. We will project a series of 30 carefully selected short films. There are three prizes to be won at the end of the festival: a public’s award, an award for the team’s favorite film and an award from our very own jury of professionals.

Length: Between 7 seconds to 20 minutes
Subscription is free!
If the film is in a foreign language, don’t forget to add subtitles.
