The Equinale® 2016
The Equinale® is an international film festival for horse films and films, which horses play an important roll.
The Equinale® is an event which takes place over four days.
Entertainment films (films for adults and children), documentaries, advertisements and educational films are going to be shown.
There will also be lectures about horses which will definitely catch the interest of the young and old horse fans.
The highlight of this event is the giving of awards to the films in the various categories.
The films are going to be awarded by a mixed jury. The jury is composed of horse thrilled people out of the riding scene.
The children and youth films are going to be rated from a separate jury.
Furthermore two public awards are going to be awarded.
The big film ball on Saturday, on which the films are going to be awarded, is a social event.
It is a theme ball for all horse fans with guests out of the film and VIP scene.

To round off this event, a small market invites you to go for a stroll. Fashion, art, interior, culinary delicacies including horse products are expected to reduce the waiting time between the films.
Location
In the heartland of horsemanship, Germany, this event takes place in the castle Neuhoff/Bibow in northwest Mecklenburg.
The location is in the “garden of the metropolis” Hamburg and Berlin.
It is easily reachable over the motorway and with public means of transport
Further interesting areas are the state capital Schwerin and the hanseatic cities Wismar, Rostock and Lübeck.
Mecklenburg and Schleswig Holstein, which borders Mecklenburg, are known as THE horse states in Germany.
The castle Neuhoff has been always connected to horses.
From the first owners the von Plessen to the von Basewitz, who had designed and built their own baroque riding park until the beginning of the 19th century, up to the baron von Langen.
Carl Friedrich von Langen, the first German Olympic champion (1928), was excerpted from this family. After his death, he was buried together with his horse on the premises of the castle.
"Covariance" will play the San Gio Film Festival in Verona, Italy July 23-27, 2013. This is the 33rd festival acceptance for the 2011 short film made with the generous support in the camera department from Canon USA, Inc. Directed by Dawn Westlake and starring David Razowsky, the film has been nominated for awards in Brazil, Rwanda, South Africa and Canada.

"Covariance" will play the Zimbabwe Int'l Film Festival in Harare
between Sept. 30th-October 7th, 2011. This is the film's 2nd festival
acceptance in as many continents! (Its first fest was Comfortable
Shorts, Melbourne, Australia on Sept. 20th.)
