"Pooling" has been accepted to the Cefalu Film Festival in Palermo, Italy for June 2019. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, and produced by her Ron de Cana Productions, Inc. shingle, "Pooling" is a hybrid short combining animation, breakdance, special effects and drone cinematography. “Queer Short” is the International short film competition of SICILIA QUEER filmfest (third edition: May 31 - June 6, 2013).
“Queer Short” is a competition for short films from all over the world, either on film or video realized with the most up-to-date digital technologies, that are related to GLBT issues, or even to heterosexuality seen from a “queer perspective”.

The Cultural Association QUATTRO TERZI presents: VII SHORTini International Short Film Festival The festival will be held in Augusta (SR) – ITALY in the period from 02 to 04 August 2013. SHORTini International Short Film Festival is a short films international competition that includes 3 sections: International Competition, National Competition, Mediterraneo Competition. The following prizes are provided, awarded at the unchallengeable judgement of the jury appointed by the Cultural Association Bivio Art and so divided: INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION Best Short film Best Direction Best Cinematography Audience Award Special Mentions. The maximum duration of short films, including titles and credits, is 30 minutes. Italian production’s short films may choose to compete or for National competition or for the International. The short films not in Italian language shall NOT have subtitles, but must be provided, in the application for participation, the dialogue printed in English language. How to partecipate Registration is free and the deadline for submission of material is May 01, 2013, checking postmark. The registration procedures for both national and international competition are: Register online at the site www.shortinifilmfestival.com Postage at: SHORTINI INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Via Megara n° 107 96011 AUGUSTA (SR) - ITALY and contain absolutely, penalty exclusion: - Signed Forms of Participation; - N° 1 copy of audiovisual material on DVD; - Signed Release; - CD containing photos of the scene, photos of the author and author's cv. The registration form and release must be duly filled in any single part, penalty exclusion. Works must be submitted in DVD, with the following notes: Author’s full name; Work’s title; Duration; Year. GENERAL NOTES The Cultural Association Bivio Art is not responsible for any postal delays, damage, theft or loss of postal items. The works will not be returned and will become part of Festival’s archive.
