"Through the Pane" will have its African premiere at the Rwanda Film Festival in Kigali, Rwanda July 22-29, 2016. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, the film is based on the memoir chapter of Donald G. Westlake, the director's father. A guitarviol scored was performed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson's music was recently featured in Tom Tykwer's "A Hologram for the King", starring Tom Hanks.

"Through the Pane" has been accepted to the documentary section of the 2016 RATMA Film Festival in Keighley, UK for July 16th, 2016. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, "Through the Pane" is based on the memoir chapter of the director's father about his acceptance of her mother's death. Cinematography and editing/visual effects were provided by Imatge Barcelona's Pol Carrizo Vilarroig. An original score was composed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs.

Dawn Westlake's "Games People Play" received its 40th festival acceptance today with L'Aquila Film Fest in L'Aquila, Italy for December 8-18, 2015. Shot on the C500 by Jon Carr, the film was scored by Alvarez-featured guitarist GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs in the style of Ennio Morricone. "Games People Play" stars David Razowsky, Mark Jacobson and Westlake, herself.
