Cargo Entertainment adds the crime thriller LOST IN THE SUN to the AFM lineupCargo Entertainment is pleased to announce the addition of the crime thriller LOST IN THE SUN to our AFM lineup. The film stars Josh Duhamel whose recent movie, Safe Haven has grossed over $100 million worldwide. Josh is also known for his starring role in the Transformers franchise.
LOST IN THE SUN tells the story of John, a small time crook, who kidnaps an orphaned teenage boy and attempts to ransom him to his in-laws. As their open-road adventure progresses and John drags the kid on a string of robberies, the pair forge an unexpected and powerful bond.
Writer / Director Trey Nelson won critical acclaim for his films Raccoon and Stealing Lincoln's Body. Producers are Clay Pecorin (The Bucket List, The Big Wedding) of Two Ton Films along with Aimee Shieh and Clay Floren (The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, Girls Against Boys, Bad Milo) of Floren Shieh Productions.
LOST IN THE SUN will start production February 2014 in Austin, Texas with an expected delivery Q4 2014 / Q1 2015. The script package is attached to the email.
